Blogging and Microblogging
Goals and guidelines:
- Blog once a week. Blog posts should be more oriented toward project-specific news, although we should feel free to pen short essays on relevant topics. We should also encourage guest bloggers; lots of voices are great.
- Microblog (Identi.ca and Twitter) 2-5 times a week. These status updates should both plug project news (links to blog posts, quick status notices, etc.), but also be a source of news for grant-making and philanthropy. It's a way to engage our community, be a Collab:Visible Pulse for the project, and drive traffic and attention to our site.
